As New Zealand’s exclusive resellers for Phase One Cultural Heritage equipment, New Zealand Micrographic Services are proud to be hosting product demonstrations for the Phase One iXH Camera System, with the brand new UltraRes 72mm MkII Lens.
As a leader in cultural heritage digitisation, New Zealand Micrographic Services have been utilising Phase One Cultural Heritage equipment since 2012. After 6 years of heavy use, we recognised that Phase One lived up to its reputation as world-leaders in medium-format digital photography and imaging solutions, resulting in our exclusive partnership announcement in 2018.
Since then we’ve followed Phase One as their specialised research and development team developed a modern cultural heritage imaging solution that provides an ergonomic and efficient workflow, resilient hardware, and patented imaging capabilities.
These efforts have yielded the iXH 150-megapixel camera system, designed with top of the line quality, durability, and ease of use in mind. This camera system is paired with the brand new UltraRes 72mm MkII Lens, complimenting the iXH through its optimization for 150 megapixels and beyond – enabling it to reach the benchmark of A0@300ppi scanning for flat objects, such as maps and drawings, in a single shot.
Although the Phase One iXH specifications supports its reputation as an industry-leading piece of equipment, we’re aware there’s only so much that can be conveyed on paper.
That’s why NZMS will be hosting product demonstrations of the Phase One iXH, with events located in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
