NZMS Ōtautahi Christchurch moved to new premises on Ferry Road last year as a result of the Canterbury Museum’s five-year redevelopment project. The new location has proven to be an excellent fit for our team as it is modern, spacious, and secure.
It is spread over two floors: the lower level is equipped with our capture stations and digitisation equipment, while the upper level (boasting a picturesque view of Christchurch’s Port Hills) has computers, offices, a meeting room, a lounge area, and a kitchen.
The increased space has created a more comfortable and productive environment for both our team and customers. The Ferry Road office is conveniently located close to the city centre, making it easily accessible via public transportation, and there is plenty of parking available nearby.
At NZMS, we place a strong emphasis on quality customer service and strive to offer personalised solutions tailored to meet each customer’s unique digitisation needs. Our new office provides the perfect setting for us to deliver on that commitment.
The move to the new office on Ferry Road has been an exciting time for NZMS and CEO Andy Fenton notes:
“In 2015, while searching for a new home in Ōtautahi, I distinctly recall the wonderful feeling when Anthony Wright contacted us with an offer to occupy a space in the Canterbury Museum. As time passed, this feeling transformed into a sense of inclusivity, as the staff at this significant cultural heritage institution consistently welcomed us with open arms. We are thrilled to see that their redevelopment plans are finally underway, and we are equally excited about our new location, which is a large space spread across two floors. We invite all our South Island friends, colleagues, and customers to come and visit us and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in our new space!”
