LIANZA 2014 Conference

With this conference nearly upon us we are looking forward to catching up with those of you we know and meeting those of you we don’t.  This year we are taking a different approach to the conference and in the spirit of the theme, Connect and Thrive, we are being joined by some of the team from the Blind Foundation.

Our Northern Regional Manager Alison Barnett, together with our client, Kylie, will be presenting, “You can’t get there by yourself:  The lifecycle of a digitisation project”.   Come and hear how they worked together to ensure Kylie’s digitisation project had the desired outcome – and take away some tips and tricks to use when you are planning your own project.

During the session breaks The Blind Foundation will be giving mini talks on topics such as ‘Fonts – the good and the bad’ and ‘Top 10 accessibility barriers on the web for Blind and Low Vision users’,  to name a couple.  The full list and timetable will be at our stand (70-71). Make sure you check the schedule so you don’t miss meeting Chris Orr and his guide dog Riley!  There will be representatives available to talk to throughout the conference if you can’t make the speech times.

We support participation and accessibility for all.  That’s why we’ll be taking donations for the Blind foundation at our stand and we will match your donations up to a total of $1500.  And while you are at our stand you’ll be able to see the new range of products and services on offer.
