Jamie has filled this role for the last 2 ½ years with NZMS and has given multiple presentations as well as delivering major digitisation projects. Previously he had spent 26 years in the audio-visual archiving field working for The Film Archive, Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision and National Archives Australia. He has a background in photography and architecture and holds a Masters in Information Management. He has also served as Secretary General for the South East Asian & Pacific Archiving Association (SEAPAVAA) and helped set up the NZ Committee of UNESCO’s Memory of the World Programme, serving as Deputy Chair for 8 years. He enjoys modern music, walks on the beach and relaxes doing jigsaws and Wordle.
